Rhonda serves on the Leadership Council of the Global African Affinity Network at Dow, and is a consistent advocate, volunteering with the Dow Promise program, and serving on the Dow Promise Advisory Council. The Dow Promise Program is an employee-led initiative at Dow, which strives to positively impact educational and economic challenges faced by African American youth and adults in communities near Dow sites. The annual competitive grant for this has been successful in providing financial and volunteer support for social, economic and environmental projects in communities where Dow operates. She has served with Dow University relations as a team lead to recruit diverse talent to Dow, contributing to a record number of minority interns and co-op students in 2018-19. Rhonda is also a Dow STEM ambassador, a Girls STEM Academy Speaker at NASA Space Centre Houston, and facilitator at Girls Construction Camp.
