Victor is a founding member of BNY Mellon Pershing’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group, and the co-chair of IMPACT – BNY Mellon’s multicultural business resource group – for the New York and New Jersey chapter. Employee programming includes mentoring, heritage celebrations and community sponsorship activities. He helped launch the firm’s first unconscious bias training program. As a financial services industry expert, Victor has incorporated D&I into his responsibilities at firm and client conferences sharing his expertise surrounding the growing wealth demographics of future generations, women and minority populations. He pioneered the development of the firms first financial advisor D&I news media partnership, with InvestmentNews. Victor is a frequent public speaker and sponsor of non-profit organizations and academic institutions, sharing his personal story to help inspire others, including speaking with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Hudson County Latino Foundation, New Jersey City University and the United States Military Academy.
