After winning a national election to Chair Aviva Balance in the UK, Anna built the foundations of the community, designed its strategy, recruited members, socialized it to employees, encouraged intersectionality and shared best practice externally. She introduced Diwali celebrations into Aviva Bristol and her artwork, titled “We Sikh Peace”, was featured in a Remembrance exhibition and raised awareness of the 83,000 Sikh soldiers who lost their lives fighting with the British Army. Anna has worked closely with media personality and former monk, Jay Shetty, to help wisdom go viral within Aviva’s marketing team. She’s a member of the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers’ Diversity and Inclusion Network and was a panelist alongside Marketing Directors from The Guardian, Boots and Direct Line in the Inclusion Panel at their annual conference. She has trained with Google to run #IamRemarkable workshops with under-represented groups and was recently awarded an internal Diversity Champion Award.
